Man threatens Manitowoc bar patrons, crashes...

Manitowoc Police say a Greendale man faces charges after police say he threatened to harm people in a bar and then later crashed his truck into a fence.

Around midnight Wednesday, Manitowoc Police were called to Capone’s Bar and Grill on 10th St.

Police say the call was about an intoxicated and disorderly male, threatening to harm bar patrons.

When police left their cars, the 40-year-old suspect had left the bar and was getting into his truck.

Manitowoc Police say when the suspect saw police approaching; he threw his truck in reverse and crashed through a wooden fence.

Police were able to stop the suspect about a block away from the bar on Marshall St. Part of the wooden fence was still hanging from the bed of the truck.

The man was taken into custody for OWI, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Marijuana and a Hit & Run accident.

A later charge of Resisting or Obstructing an officer was added after he resisted officers during processing.
