Man taken to Oshkosh hospital with gunshot wound

A 24-year-old man is recovering at an Oshkosh-area hospital after suffering a single gunshot wound to the back, according to Oshkosh Police.

Officers were called to the 500 block of Hobbs Avenue on the city's north side around 11:30 p.m. Thursday for reports of a shooting.

Officers believe the shooting was targeted and do not believe it was a random incident.
