Person of interest related to Green Bay shooting now in custody

UPDATE: Green Bay Police say they have a person of interest in custody related to an early morning shooting. He is a 25 year old man.

Police are not releasing the identity of the man at this time, saying they are still investigating.

Green Bay Police are investigating after a man in his early 20's was shot in the 1800-block of Western Avenue in Green Bay.

Police were called around 1 a.m. Monday. Authorities say they had a possible man of interest in custody. They are now conducting interviews to learn more about the incident.

The victim is in stable, but critical condition in a local hospital.

Police haven't released if the victim and suspect or suspects knew each other or what lead to the shooting. Green Bay Police are investigating.
