36 year old Joseph Anderson will spend 3 years in prison and five years on extended supervision after his sentencing involving a fatal hit and run case. A judge also ordered Anderson to perform 250 hours of community service.
Anderson learned his fate Tuesday morning in Oconto County Circuit court. Prosecutors say Anderson Killed George Birr while he was walking along County Highway S near Sobieski. He was originally charged with Hit and Run involving death but was convicted of a lesser charge of Negligent Operation of a Vehicle in an agreement with prosecutors.
