MANITOWOC COUNTY, Wis. — A 22-year-old Green Bay man was pronounced dead following a rollover crash in Manitowoc County on Wednesday night. The driver and an infant were hospitalized.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office says crews responded around 9:38 p.m. for a vehicle rollover crash on I-43 near Devils River in the Township of Cooperstown.
Authorities say a 19-year-old Green Bay woman was driving a 2010 Ford Focus northbound on I-43. The car entered the median, went through a barrier fence and guardrail, and overturned down an embankment.
The Sheriff's Office says the 22-year-old man, who was a front seat passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The infant, who was in a rear-facing child seat, was also taken to the hospital for possible injuries. The Sheriff's Office says the adults were wearing seatbelts.
The crash is being investigated. Authorities have confirmed the driver is Miranda Leigh Fuller. The Sheriff's Office says the Coroner’s Office will release the name of the deceased and cause of death when appropriate.
