Charges related to a Dec. 10 incident which led to an officer-involved shooting in the town of Algoma were filed Tuesday, according to Winnebago County Sheriff's Capt. David Mack.
Richard Klemz, 57 of Oshkosh, faces charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, Mack said.
Klemz remains in the hospital.
The Department of Justice is investigating the officer-involved shooting.
Klemz had been reported as suicidal in a 911 call before the officer-involved shooting incident Thursday in the town of Algoma, according to Winnebago County Sheriff John Matz.
Klemz allegedly rammed the front of a squad car and struck a private citizen's vehicle in the Algoma Town Hall parking lot prior to shots being fired by a Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office deputy and an Oshkosh police officer.
