Menasha Police were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Broad Street just after 8 a.m. Friday for a report of a man who had been shot.
Officers found a 42-year-old man who had a single gunshot wound. The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A handgun believed to be used in the incident was recovered at the scene and a person of interest, a 30-year-old woman, believed to be involved with the shooting is in custody. The circumstances of the incident appear to be the result of a domestic dispute, according to Menasha Police. No one else is believed to be involved in the incident and police say there are no safety concerns for others in the community.
