A man remains in the ICU with serious injuries after a boat crash on the Fox River over the weekend.

Julian Uptegrove, 35, was driving the boat when it crashed into the shore near the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened on the north side of the Cat Island breakwall, 100 yards west of the shipping channel, the sheriff's office said.

The boat struck the rock breakwall and came to rest on the gravel road above it.

Three other people were in the boat at the time. They're identified as Theodore Glime, 26, from the Fond du Lac area, Brittini Wenzel, 26, from the Appleton area and Jeffrey Vogl, 26, from the Hobart area. All three were treated and released from a local hospital.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash and it is still under investigation. Both the Brown County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Natural Resources are investigating.
