Manitowoc Police have a suspect in custody, in connection with a series of home and vehicle burglaries.

Detectives got a tip Tuesday morning, about a person of interest they'd been seeking since the burglaries began in mid-August.

Police were able to bring 23-year-old Tyler W. Fessler into custody as he tried to leave a home in the 1200 block of S. 11th Street.

He was brought into the department where police later questioned him on the different incidents.

Fessler then implicated two other people, as his accomplices. The investigation into those subjects is still ongoing.

Fessler is charged with burglary to a dwelling and felony bail jumping. He is currently held at the Manitowoc County Jail on a $5,000 cash bond.

Manitowoc Police say Fessler is directly connected to a north side burglary where a large amount of cash was taken.

Fessler admitted to being involved in eleven other car entires in Manitowoc.

He's being referred to the DA's office on additional charges of Theft and/or Burglary and Bail jumping.

Police are still investigating his involvement in other home and car burglaries.
