A man was taken into custody by Green Bay Police after he approached children at Lincoln Elementary School during recess Tuesday.
The school sent a letter home to parents explaining the situation. In the letter, Principal Angela Hager says a man approached the playground while kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders were playing outside. He stayed behind the fence but made general comments that students needed to come with him. School staff contacted police and he was taken into custody.
