A 78-year-old man crashed his motorcycle into a tree in Fremont and suffered injuries Saturday, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the crash happened just before 2 p.m. Witnesses told officers the man was having mechanical issues with his three-wheeled motorcycle.
They say it stalled and when it started up again it accelerated quickly. Officers say it crossed Waupaca Street and hit a large pine tree..
The man was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. His name has not been released, or the extent of his injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
