A man died early Monday morning following a crash in the Township of Taycheedah, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office.
Emergency crews responded to the crash around 5:36 a.m. on County Road Q west of County Road QQ.
The Sheriff's Office says the initial investigation shows that a westbound vehicle failed to negotiate the curve and struck a power pole and tree. The driver was found deceased in the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and no additional information will be released at this time.
Authorities identified the driver as a 55-year-old man from the Malone area. His full identity will be released at a later date and time.
