A 58-year-old Keil man has been convicted for causing a disturbance during the private burial service for State Trooper Trevor Casper in March 2015.

On Wednesday a jury convicted Michael Mangan for obstructing an officer, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct at a funeral. Sentencing is scheduled for April 6.

Officers say Mangan was walking around the cemetery carrying a suspicious looking bag with an object sticking out of it. When they tried to approach him he became loud and violent. Officers had to use force to take him into custody.
