Andrew Dellemann was arrested on May 31, 2018 after Oconto County Deputies went undercover and began communicating with Dellemann as the 16-year-old.

The girl's parents alerted deputies about the messages they were seeing on their daughter's phone.

According to deputies, Dellemann had been sending sexual messages and pictures to the girl for some time.

In court documents, it states, in those messages, Dellemann reportedly knew that she was underage, saying, "Age does not matter."

The girl told him that her parents might be monitoring her text messages, and they were.

They contacted deputies who set up a sting, pretending to be the 16-year-old.

Chief Deputy Ed Janke says the parents did the right thing and wants other parents to stay vigilant when it comes to their children and who they're communicating with.

"You know as parents we need to be engaged and ensure that our children are safe...I think the behavior would have continued, and I do not believe that, you know, the behavior would have been noticed by the parents," Chief Deputy Ed Janke adds.

Dellemann was arrested in Little Suamico, and charged with one count of child enticement.

He did appear in court this week. He posted bond with conditions and will be back in court next week.
