A big day for students and staff at NWTC in Green Bay on Monday, as a major renovation and construction project is finished.

After three years, local officials and school leaders cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of the new Trades and Engineering Technology Center.

"And it feels like a contemporary facility. Something you'd see if you went to an architecture firm, or an engineering firm,” says Mark Weber with NWTC. “Particularly in our design building. Like we always try to do we create an environment that resembles that they're going to work and live in."

The project included work on three buildings with more than 10,000 square feet added with another 125,000 square feet renovated.
