GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- We at NBC 26 are thrilled to be a part of the YWCA's annual Women's Empowerment Conference later this week.
This event brings together community members from several different sectors to further the empowerment of women and girls.
This year there are some changes.
"When we shifted to the virtual platform, we now have all these bonus opportunities. In a regular conference, people have to make a decision about which one, but now that we've gone virtual, people will have access to all of the workshops," said Renita Robinson, CEO of YWCA Greater Green Bay.
The theme of Friday’s conference is “be the one.”
