GREEN BAY — Greater Green Bay YMCA's school-aged child care program is hosting a shoe drive.

Gently worn sneakers, cleats, heels, boots, sandals, flats or any other shoe - any size - are welcome! Shoes collected will be donated to Haiti and other countries in need. In return, the YMCA will receive a donation towards their annual campaign.

“The whole concept is just giving back, a lot of times we get rid of something that isn't useful anymore, somebody else can wear that same pair of shoes,” said Connie Bykoski YMCA Child Care Executive. “So, they might have walked the streets of Green Bay Wisconsin, but now they're going to walk the streets of Haiti."

Shoes can be dropped off at any Greater Green Bay YMCA location.
