FREEDOM, Wis. — A woman from Neenah was killed in a crash in Outagamie county Tuesday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office says the crash happened around 3:15 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of County Trunk S and County Trunk J in the town of Freedom.
A vehicle driven by a 70-year-old woman from Neenah collided with a pickup.
According to the release, the woman failed to yield the right of way to the pickup truck and was struck on the driver's side.
The 70-year-old Neenah woman was life-flighted to an area hospital where she later died. The driver of the pickup, a 23-year-old man from Freedom was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
