MANITOWOC (NBC 26) -- A woman is accused of putting notes containing a racial slur on car windshields in Manitowoc.

Cathleen Yauch, Two Rivers, 47, has been arrested for terrorist threats as a hate crime and bail jumping.

According to police statements, someone returned to the Manitowoc Walmart parking lot last Thursday after shopping to find a note left on their vehicle that resembled a hunting license. Upon further inspection, the "license" contained a racial slur. Another car also had a similar note on its windshield.

The person contacted police and Walmart assisted by providing the parking lot security video. According to police, one of the store’s loss prevention employees identified Yauch.

Police worked to track her down and made an arrest. Yauch has since been released on bail to await her initial court appearance.
