GREEN BAY, Wis — The cold temperatures arrived into northeast Wisconsin on Friday afternoon. Which for many meant if you left for work this morning in a short sleeved shirt, you probably regretted that decision. Today we chatted with folks in the Green Bay area to find out how they feel about the arrival of the big chill.

It’s hard to believe that on Friday morning it was 64 degrees in the Green Bay area considering that by mid afternoon the temperature dropped nearly 20 degrees. Forget about wading into fall, it’s starting to feel like we're about to skip it.Of course the rain and wind didn't help it feel any more comfortable outside today. During the course of the afternoon there were only slight windows when the rain let up. It was one of those days when if you weren't paying attention to last night’s weather report you we're absolutely caught off guard.

"It just got really cold, damp and humid and I heard it's going to get a lot worse," said Denise Hasstedt of Oneida.

"I was supposed to play golf on Sunday and we had to cancel. One of our members thought it was too cold, I think he's a wimp," joked Michael Ruge of Howard.

The worst of this cold snap is going to visit the Green Bay area on Saturday morning when temperatures are likely going to be in the upper 20's to low 30's. Welcome to another fall in Wisconsin everyone, hopefully over the next couple of weeks we can get some more appropriate fall weather.
