Wisconsin ranked 21st overall with 53.96 points, 25th in educational attainment, and 13th in quality of education.

Nearby Midwest states such as Illinois and Minnesota ranked better than us with Illinois in 12th overall, and Minnesota in 10th overall.

Taking first place is Massachusetts with a total score of 81.84.

On the plus side though, Wisconsin ranked 4th when it came to highest average university quality.
