GRAND CHUTE (NBC 26) -- Five local children had a special night shopping with the Wisconsin Herd on Wednesday.
It's the Herd's third annual Shop with The Herd event, partnering with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and Scheels to check items off each child's holiday wish list.
"What a wonderful gift for five kids who are struggling with critical illnesses just to brighten their spirits and bring them that extra joy that they really need," said Kris Teofilo, Regional Director of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
This year, the Herd gave each child a personalized jersey, and Scheels gave them a new pair of shoes.
