WEC Energy Group, the parent company of WPS and We Energies, says it will not cut power to customers during the coronavirus outbreak.

This comes from a new message on the company's website from WEC Energy Group President and CEO Kevin Fletcher.

"We will not disconnect service to any residential customers until further notice," the statement says. "If you are having difficulty paying your bills, contact us, and we will arrange a payment plan that works for you."

Additionally, the company is putting travel restrictions in place for employees to prevent illness spread and many employees are being asked to work from home.
