GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- The spirit of Thanksgiving was on display in Green Bay on Thursday.
The We All Rise African American Resource Center hosted its fall community potluck meal.
Guests enjoyed a menu that included turkey and dressing, pot roast and potatoes, fried chicken and corn bread and even cheesecake for dessert.
"We've had quite a few folks come through either pick up their plates, bring them home to share with their loved ones and families or just sit outside for a couple of minutes to just chat in a socially distanced manner. And really trying to connect with folks in these really trying times," said Rachel Westenberg, an advocate at We All Rise.
NBC 26’s Cameron Moreland has partnered up with the non-profit group, raising money for them with his Three Degree Guarantee weather forecasts.
