WAUPACA (NBC 26) -- A man was taken to the hospital following an accidental discharge of a firearm, according to Waupaca Police.
Waupaca Police said officers were dispatched to a home just before 9pm on Sunday. Officers received a report of an accidental discharge of firearm on the 2000 block of Otter Drive.
Police said a 65-year-old man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said this was an isolated incident and posed no risk to the community.
