Voting continues for Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin

The top 16 have been decided. Voting for round two of the Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin contest starts today.

Five businesses from northeast Wisconsin have made the cut. Let's take a look at the bracket:

Taking the number one seed out of Neenah is Plexus Corporation, with their Quidel Sofia 2 florescent immuno-assay analyzer. The product helps aid in the diagnosis of many critical diseases and conditions like COVID 19.

The number two seed is also from northeast Wisconsin: Mercury Marine out of Fond Du Lac, with their bravo four 'S' forward-facing drive.

Kimberly-Clark out of Neenah took the third seed with their Nano preemie diapers. These are made for babies weighing less than 2 pounds.

Lakeside Plastics incorporated out of Oshkosh made the running with their traffic cones.

Lastly, the Boldt Company out of Appleton made the top 16 with their Staat Mod, a pre-fab modular unit that can be deployed to hospitals throughout the country.

More than 18,000 votes were cast in the first round of the contest. This next round of voting runs today through Sunday. Again, you can vote once per day by heading to the website.

The top 8 will be announced on Monday.
