APPLETON, Wis. — The school year begins next week and that means a new season for many people as they transition into back to school, after school activities and Friday night football games!
It also means fall programming beings for Valley Transit in downtown Appleton. Valley Transit is once again offering free rides on the bus to Appleton Area School District as well as students attending Fox Valley Technical College that have a student ID available.
During this time Valley Transit is also looking to hire four drivers to fill its growing need in the community for public transportation after they've had a few people retire.
