GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- You can help the Green Bay volleyball team as they join forces with the Alzheimer's Association this Friday.
The team is hosting the second annual Alzheimer's Awareness Night at the Kress Center. It started in honor of head coach Abbey Southerland's mother who is fighting the disease.
She was diagnosed a decade ago in her early fifties. Many on the team say they too have loved ones touched by Alzheimer's.
The match will be against wright state at 6:00 PM. Fans are encouraged to wear purple to support the cause. Last year, the team raised over $6,000.
