WAUPACA COUNTY, Wis. (NBC 26) --
Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says they have located a man identified as the person involved in an attempted kidnapping earlier this week.
Around 5:00 Sunday evening in the Township of Larrabee, police say a man ordered a 27-year-old woman who was walking with her 1-year-old son on Island Road to get into his vehicle. The woman refused and was able to return to her home and contact the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office.
The man was described as a white male approximately 60 to 70 years old with white shaggy hair.
Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says at 5:25 Tuesday evening they were able to locate the man wanted in connection to the incident and there is no danger to the public.
They say the incident remains under investigation. No other details have been released.
