GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- An award-winning local bakery is looking for another title.
Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe opened in 2010 and now has three locations in the Green Bay area.
They are going up against hundreds of bakeries from all over the nation for the title of the Sweetest Bakery in America.
"It would be awesome, we would be so excited. Everyone here, they've worked so hard. Our clerks tell every single customer that walks through the door about this contest,” Isabella Tomcheck, the bakery’s Marketing Manager. “And we hear everyday customers come in, ‘Oh and we've been voting’ and everyone tells us on Facebook, so it's not just huge for us, it's huge for this community as well."
