APPLETON, Wis. (NBC 26) — United States Army veteran Maria Nodich received a free roof as part of Purple Heart Homes and the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.
The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project is a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them.
Since the program's inception in 2016, more than 325 military members have received new roofs, with Maria being the latest recipient.
Owens Corning is donating roofing materials to Security-Luebke roofing, who will be installing the new roof.
