TOWN OF BLACK CREEK (NBC 26) — Two men were seriously injured in a crash near the intersection of Highway 54 and Miller Road in the town of Black Creek at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office.

A pickup truck traveling east by a 67-year-old man from Minnesota crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck traveling west by a 27-year-old New London man, according to the initial scene investigation by the sheriff's office. The 27-year-old was transported by ThedaStar to a local hospital and the 67-year-old was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Both had serious injuries.

The roadway was closed for about 1.5 hours and has since reopened.

The sheriff's office was assisted on scene by Seymour Police, Wisconsin State Patrol, Black Creek Fire and Rescue, Seymour Fire and Rescue and ThedaStar helicopter.
