SHEBOYGAN (NBC 26) — Sheboygan Police arrested a Two Rivers man early Sunday morning after police said he fired a gun into the air.
Sheboygan Police officers were in the area of Indiana Ave and S 9th St when they heard gunshots at around 2:19 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Officers saw a vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the traffic stop, police said they recovered a handgun and arrested a 22-year-old Two Rivers man for Endangering Safety by Dangerous Use of a Weapon.
According to police, the man said he fired the shots into the air to break up a fight. There were no reported injuries.
