Two people injured in Green Bay shooting

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Green Bay Police said two people were injured in a shooting on the city's near west side.

At around 12:30 p.m., police say officers were called to the area of 9th and Ashland, and the 1800 block of S. Ashland. Police said two people had injuries related to gunfire. They are both being treated at local hospitals.

Police said the public is not believed to be in any danger. The investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
