CHILTON (NBC 26) — Two people were found dead Wednesday at a residence in Chilton, police said in a statement. Police also said they don't believe the public is in any danger at this time.
According to the Chilton Police Department, officers responded around 9:23 a.m. Wednesday to a medical call at a residence on North Madison Street in Chilton. Police said the investigation revealed two deceased subjects.
Chilton Police say this incident is a death investigation and is ongoing.
Police didn't reveal the identities of the deceased and said the families of the deceased are requesting privacy at this time. Police said they would release further information when it becomes available.
Chilton Police said the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation, Calumet County Sheriff’s Department, Calumet County Medical Examiner’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and the Calumet County District Attorney’s Office is assisting with this investigation.
