DOOR COUNTY, Wis. — Two people from Green Bay are dead after a crash in Door County over the weekend, authorities say.

According to a Facebook post from the Door County Sheriff's Office, two vehicles crashed Sunday evening at the intersection of CTH PD and CTH C in the township of Nasewaupee.

The Sheriffs Office says a 2011 BMW 4-door, driven by a 16-year-old girl from Green Bay, didn't stop at a stop sign while heading northbound on CTH PD. The Sheriff's Office says a 2015 Ford F150 pickup truck, heading eastbound on CTH C, hit the BMW.

A passenger in the BMW, a 52 year-old Green Bay man, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Sheriff's Office says. The 16-year-old driver and another passenger of the BMW, a 20 year-old woman from Austin Texas, were taken to the hospital. On Monday, the Sheriff's Office says they were notified by the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office that the 16-year-old had died from her injuries.

The driver of the F150 pickup truck was not injured.

The crash is still being investigated. The Sheriff's Office did not release the identities of those killed, pending next-of-kin notifications.
