OUTAGAMIE COUNTY (NBC 26) — Two gas drive-offs in the Greenville area appear to be related, the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
The sheriff's office asked for the public's help in a Facebook post, which contained two pictures apparently connected to the alleged incidents.
A gas drive-off is a crime involving a driver pumping their car with gas and then driving away without paying. These most recent incidents come as gas prices are skyrocketing across the country.
The sheriff's office didn't release many details about the two Greenville-area gas drive-offs but asked the public if they recognize the person in the photos.
