GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Two bald eagles were released into the wild Saturday morning after being fully healed, according to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.
At 9 a.m. on November 2nd, the Sanctuary released two bald eagles at the base of Bay Beach Amusement Park's big ferris wheel.
Joining them was the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Foresty Department along with members of the community.
Both eagles are immature, meaning they are under five years old, they were brought to the Sanctuary last July in need of rehabilitation.
