Trump: Charlie Kirk assassination suspect in custody

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NBC 26) — President Donald Trump said Friday morning that he believes the person who fatally shot Charlie Kirk is now in custody.

Krik, 31, was shot and killed during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

The President told the hosts of Fox and Friends, "I think, we a high degree of certainty, we have him."

Authorities released suspect photos on Thursday and offered a $100,000 reward.
