NEENAH — Officers in the Fox Valley are taking part in the Annual Torch Run on Thursday to raise awareness for Special Olympics Wisconsin and celebrate the start of the Summer Games.
The torch was passed on through more than 30 communities Thursday morning, starting at the Neenah Police Department.
Opening ceremonies for Special Olympics Wisconsin begin later Thursday and the competition begins Friday morning.
