The president of Cardinal Stritch University has placed three students in isolation who have had direct contact with COVID-19 positive people.
The university says the students had direct contact with a person who has tested positive for coronavirus over their spring break, but they are all symptom-free at this time.
Still, those students will remain in isolation for the next 14 days, meaning they will not attend classes or move through any common areas on campus.
The North Shore Health Department is working closely with Cardinal Stritch to monitor and care for the students.
"This is not a time to panic," said President Kathleen A. Rinehart. "It is, however, a time to be attentive, serious and engaged regarding the steps we need to take as a Community to care for ourselves and for one another."
A second case of coronavirus was confirmed in Wisconsin on Monday.
