MALONE (NBC 26) — The next time you stop at The Little Farmer, you'll have to try some of their Pumpkin Snickerdoodles.
The apple orchard and pumpkin farm near Fond du Lac has been recognized for their cookie recipe as part of a national Neighborhood to Nation Recipe Contest with General Mills Foodservice.
“We created the pumpkin snickerdoodle a few years ago and it is one of our customer favorites and the most-requested cookie,” said Jill Daleiden, who manages the bakery and the Applehouse Store at The Little Farmer.
Because of Jill's recipe, The Little Farmer has won $5,000 to support the business and a chance to win an additional $5,000 for a local food bank.
