GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The Art Garage is excited to welcome two new exhibits this Thursday. It's 'Taking Shape' exhibit will run for the next two months wrapping up on September 27th while the Youth Summer Art Workshop Student Exhibition will run until the end of August.

The Art Garage is open and free to the public. They are letting in about 10 people at a time and have a sanitizer station upon entrance.

The exhibit 'Taking Shapes' features the work of 18 mostly local artists. There are a variety of pieces in different shapes, forms, sizes and colors.

The Youth Summer Art Workshop program features work selected by the teachers from students as young as 6-year-old.
The program is perfect for children 6 to 16. The goal of the workshops is to let children discover ways to use their imagination and creativity to create something of their very own.

Click HERE to sign up for the Art Garage's workshops. The workshops have been condensed from groups of about 12 to groups of 7 due to covid-19. There are a handful of one and two day workshops still available this year. If you do not get into one the Art Garage does offer a 'take-home' art kit for children and families to make their creations in the comfort of their own home.
