LEDGEVIEW, Wis. — Local golf courses are starting to welcome people for the 2019 season.
At Ledgeview Golf Course, some players braved chilly conditions on Saturday, but after a long and cold winter many of them were itching to get out and get that swing ready for summer.
"I think everybody was getting a little anxious to get out of the house," Ledgeview Director of Golf Steven Payant said. "January, February was long and cold and there was a lot of snow in February, so it's nice to get out of the house and walk around."
Ledgeview isn't the only course to open so far.
Golfers can also go to Twin Oaks or Westridge, and more courses are opening this weekend.
