GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Grab those remotes as the National Championship for Tecmo Super Bowl took place in Northeast Wisconsin.
The Tundra Bowl VIII took place this year at the Watering Hole.
This year they continued the partnership with the Harry Sydney’s fundraiser.
Sydney was a former Packers player.
As a part of this year’s Tecmo Challenge, we’ll be giving away an autographed book & football, both signed by 3x SB Champion Harry Sydney! A portion of what we collect in the TC will be donated directly to My Brother's Keeper! We’ve raised over $1,100 the last two years for them! pic.twitter.com/rwImy9Ideo

Organizers say it’s a time where gamers can have fun while also benefiting a good cause.
“We’re just grateful to be able to partner up with them and really be able to give some of the proceeds that we have from here today to really help mentor young men throughout Northeast Wisconsin. And of course Children’s Hospital as well. You know it’s always great partnering up with them. They do phenomenal work,” Nate Smithson, Director for the Tundra Bowl.
Smithson said people traveled from all over the country to be at this event.
He said there were people attending from at least 15 different states.
