ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) -- Police in Ashwaubenon have identified the victim and suspect in a fatal hit-and-run.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety has identified the victim as Elliot D. Cooper, 42, of Oneida.
Police said with the help of the public, investigators were able to find the suspect and the vehicle involved in Brookfield. According to Ashwaubenon police, the suspect has been arrested and is identified as John M. Parnon, 63, from Brookfield. He is currently in custody in the Waukesha County Jail.
Charges of Hit and Run causing a death have been forwarded to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office. Police said alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this case.
