MENASHA (NBC 26) -- A competition dubbed the "Superbowl of masonry" is testing participants speed, skills, and stamina by challenging them to build the best 26-foot-long brick wall.

This is the Spec Mix Brick Layer 500 in Menasha.

Professional brick masons and high school teams take part. Teams try to build the wall with no mistakes in just one hour.

“We're building America we're doing it this way, quality, consistency, we'll throw some speed and fun into it as well,” said Jason Buechel, Sales Rep. Natural Stone Veneers.

The mason with the highest brick count at the end of judging will be named, "Wisconsin's Best Bricklayer" and a chance to go on to compete for the world title in Las Vegas.
