GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Most public pools in Northeast Wisconsin have already closed for the season, but neighbors in Green Bay and Appleton will have one more chance to take a dip before swimming season ends this weekend.
The City of Green Bay announced Sunday, Aug. 23, will be the final day of the season for Colburn, Joannes and Resch pools.
In Appleton, Erb Pool will also close for the season Sunday after Mead Pool wrapped up operations last weekend.
Meanwhile, in Shawano, the reopening of the Shawano Recreation Center on Aug. 24 will provide additional swimming opportunities, along with other activities. More information is available on the city’s website.
