GREEN BAY, Wis. — Students at UWGB say there are people in certain countries with no way of getting their eyes checked and they say people need prescription glasses.

That's why, every year, with the help of Medical Missions Outreach, doctors and volunteers visit countries to provide vision care and glasses. So far, students have collected 500 glasses to date.

Michelle Stauff, a former student, who's been to El Salvador recently, says it’s life changing for people to be able to see.

“Each patient goes through a vision clinic will have their vision tested, and get their prescription search through donated glasses, and send them home with a free pair of glasses"

If you'd like to donate any pair of reading, sunglasses or any type of glasses you can do so at UWGB.
