DE PERE (NBC 26) — St. Norbert College held its 2020 commencement virtually Saturday at 4 p.m.
The ceremony was originally scheduled for May 17. The school decided to hold it virtually because of precautions related to the spread of COVID-19.
St. Norbert's speaker was Brid. Gen. Jill A. Lannan, a 1985 graduate of the college. Lannan received an honorary degree for her extraordinary career in the United States military. Lannan said she retired August 1 after 35 years of distinguished service.
